Fair will host Antique & Classic Auto Show

The Monmouth County Fair will host an Antique and Classic Auto Show on July 28 at the East Freehold Showgrounds, Kozloski Road, Freehold Township.

The show will include antique/production autos to 1932, production cars from 1933-85, sports cars to 1985 and fire trucks to 1972. There will be street rods, modified cars, race cars and motorcycles.

The Antique Motoring Club of Monmouth County will once again judge the show. Trophies will be awarded for best in show, longest distance, oldest vehicle and chairman’s choice.

Other activities for the day include a pieeating contest, music by the 1910 Fruitgum Company, rides, and the children’s Pinewood Derby.

Fair hours are 5-11 p.m. July 24-27 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 28. Admission is $7 per person; children 12 and under are free. Details: www.monmouthcountyfair.com.
