The American Heart Association is inviting New Jersey women from all walks of life to share their story at a free Go Red For Women Connect Casting Call on Friday, Feb. 10, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Macy’s wing at the Woodbridge Center Mall.

The Heart Association is looking for those who make it their mission to fight heart disease and stroke in women to share their stories of surviving heart disease or stroke or by making healthy lifestyle choices like quitting smoking, losing weight or exercising more in order to prevent cardiovascular disease.

Women who share their stories will be considered for a national spokeswomen opportunity for the Go Red For Women movement — representing Go Red For Women on theAmerican Heart Association website, in collateral materials and at national events.

In addition to the casting call, the day will include free health screenings, interactive activities, and information on topics most important to women, plus giveaways and health presentations.
