Mrs. Nicholson, a resident of Cliffwood Beach, Aberdeen, died July 1, 2010. She was employed as a secretary for the Matawan Board of Education, as a school bus driver for Milu Bus Co., Cliffwood, and as a secretary for the Board of Fire Commissioners, Fire District 2. Mrs. Nicholson was a life member of the Cliffwood Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, John “Nick” Nicholson. Surviving is a son, Gregory Nicholson and his wife, Patti, of Millstone; a daughter, Patricia Orlando of Oceanport; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements.
