Meenakshi Rehani, a hypnotherapist from California Hypnosis Institute of India and practicing meditation facilitator, will be available for consultation and counseling June 16-July 7 in Millstone.

Hypnotherapy can help decrease stress, gain confidence and eliminate fears among other benefits by focusing on the role of subconscious behavior and its influence in life.

During hypnosis, the body relaxes. In this relaxed state, the mind is fully awake and may be highly responsive to suggestion. For example, a therapist’s suggestion may help convince someone not to like the taste of cigarettes in the future. Some people respond better to hypnotic suggestion than others.
