The Chestnut Ridge Equestrian Center and Helping Hearts Equine Rescue, both of Millstone, are running a pet food and supply drive.

The organizations are collecting dry and canned dog and cat food, towels, blankets, pet shampoo and toys for shelter pets for Valentine’s Day.

Many pets are losing their homes in this economy. Shelters are at capacity.

Consider brightening a life and easing the stress on shelters by leaving donations in the collection box in the indoor arena building at 260 Millstone Road, Perrineville.
