      Food drive slated in memory of Mary Klink
            The Mary Klink Memorial Pet Food/Supply Drive to benefit the Popcorn Park Zoo, Lacy, is currently under way. Donation buckets are available at the New Egypt Agway, Rick's Saddle Shop in the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold, Dill's in Freehold, Pet Life in Allentown, Pets and Hobbies in Cream Ridge and Precious Pets in Hamilton.

      Hope Fire Co. slates pancake breakfast
            The Hope Fire Company, 82 Route 526, Allentown, will host an all-you-can- eat pancake breakfast 7-11 a.m. Dec. 20. The cost is $5 for adult, $4 for children age 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. For details, contact pcbreakfast82@aol.com.

      Allentown Art Guild hosts exhibit at winery
            The Allentown Art Guild will host Visions of Hope, an art exhibit that will run through Jan. 7 at the Laurita Winery, 35 Archertown Road, New Egypt. The exhibit will feature works of art that will include paintings in oil, watercolor and acrylic as well as mixed media, mobiles, stained glass, jewelry, photography and ceramics.

      Church will hold Christmas cantata
            "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," a Christmas cantata, will be held 3 p.m. Dec. 20 at the Allentown United Methodist Church, 23 Church St., Allentown.       Tourney open to all who want to play ball
            The Saint Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church's Lion Booster Club will present its three-on-three basketball tournament March Midnight Madness March 12-13 in the Saint Gregory the Great School gym. The tourney is open to all and costs $33 per player.

      Roosevelt slates youth open gym program
            The Roosevelt Recreation Department is sponsoring a youth open gym program for students in grades 7-12 on Fridays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The program, to be held at the Roosevelt School, 2 School Lane, is offered free of charge and will not run on days that school is not in session.

      Christmas trees, gifts sought for military
            Crossroads Assembly of God Church, 7 Main St., Englishtown, is seek donations of artificial Christmas trees, lights, ornaments and decorations, tinsel and garland as part of its "Operation Christmas Tree!" drive. The donations will be delivered via military sleds to the troops overseas and to military families in New Jersey.

      Homes for dogs, cats and kittens needed
            The Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) is seeking foster homes and permanent homes for dogs, cats and kittens. Fostering is approximately a two-month commitment. The shelter also urges current pet owners to have their pets spayed/neutered. MCSPCA offers low-cost spay/neutering to the public.
