      CCC's 30th season will include Radio City
            The Community Christian Choir (CCC) will open its 30th season at 6 p.m. Nov. 29 with "Light of Hope" at Robbinsville Seventh Day Adventist Church, Robbinsville. A program of music celebrating the Christmas message, "Light of Hope," will feature performances of both the Community Christian Children's Choir and the adult CCC.

      Irwin Service Center collects for Open Door
            Irwin Service Center, 4000 Route 9 south in Freehold, is collecting food for the Open Door on Throckmorton Street in Freehold during the month of November. Every item donated will earn $1 off your service bill. Items in need at the food bank are: hot cereal, rice, tuna fish, coffee, tea, canned soup, jelly, snacks, as well as other nonperishable food items.

      New horse club will hold open house
            The newly formed Pleasure Horse Club of Central Jersey will hold its first holiday open house gathering 7:15 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Millstone Township Community Center (2nd floor). All are welcome to attend and refreshments will be served.

      Christmas caroling, tree lighting slated
            The annual Christmas caroling and tree lighting event, sponsored by the Women's Association of Allentown, will be held 4:30 p.m. Dec. 6. Carolers will meet in front of the Allentown Borough Hall, 8 N. Main St., where songbooks will be provided. Flashlights are suggested. Anyone wishing to accompany the carolers with a musical instrument would be much appreciated.

      Allentown slates open house weekend
            Allentown will hold its holiday open house weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 5-6. Sales and discounts will be offered throughout the shops in town as well as free refreshments, caroling and tree lighting ceremonies. Free photos with Santa will be offered noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at The Sweetest Things and 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 6 at Holiday on Church.

      Giving Tree will be in Allentown Library
            The Women's Association of Allentown will place its Giving Tree in the library on Main Street again this year. Donations of gloves, hats, mittens, socks or other small items can be hung on the tree. Volunteers from the Women's Association will distribute the donations to people in need in the community.       Allentown Post Office has a Santa mailbox
            The Allentown Post Office has provided a special mailbox for letters addressed to Santa Claus. In order to get a response from Santa, all letters must be received by Dec. 19. The Women's Association of Allentown has sponsored this service.

      'Rescue Ink Unleashed' stars host art auction
            Adopt-A-Pet, Millstone, has been rescuing animals since 1984. Many of the dogs the agency has rescued have gone on to become therapy dogs with Furry Angels Therapy Dogs, Millstone. The therapy dogs and their owners will be honored during a Dec. 5 event at Freehold Raceway.

            Millstone Township Recreation will host a holiday lighting event at the Millstone Township firehouse 6-8 p.m. Dec. 4. The lighting event will feature Santa Claus, the Millstone Township Middle School band and refreshments.

            The Princeton Garden Statesmen, a chorus comprised of 40 male voices singing in four-part close harmony, will perform 7:30 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Allentown Presbyterian Church, 20 High St., Allentown. The concert is sponsored by the Upper Freehold/ Allentown Municipal Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.

      Christmas trees, gifts sought for military
            Crossroads Assembly of God Church, 7 Main St., Englishtown, is seek donations of artificial Christmas trees, lights, ornaments and decorations, tinsel and garland as part of its "Operation Christmas Tree!" drive. The donations will be delivered via military sleds to the troops overseas and to military families in New Jersey.
