      Millstone Eagles ascend
      Two teams advance to second round of respective playoffs
            Millstone Eagles Pop Warner teams glided into postseason and continue to soar. The PeeWee teamdefeatedMonroe Nov. 1 to take home the title of Central Jersey Division II champions. After beating Ocean 8-0 Nov. 8, the Pee Wee team has an 11-0 record and has advanced to the second round of Eastern Regional playoffs.

      The future of Allentown High School football
            Allentown's freshman football team moved one step closer to a perfect season with a decisive victory against Hopewell Valley last week. The team prevailed against Hopewell Valley 28-12 on Wednesday afternoon, improving its record to 8-0.

            Millstone Elks Lodge No. 2613 will hold a basketball free throw shooting contest 8:30 a.m. Nov. 21 at the Millstone Primary School on Schoolhouse Lane. Registration for the "hoop shoot," which is open to boys and girls ages 8-13, will begin at 8:30 a.m.
