Add the 'missing link' to the great outdoors
      Imagine every New Jersey resident living within walking distance of a park or trail — and being able to link to other trails, parks and natural areas without getting in a car. For this vision to become a reality, this state we're in needs to add more connections between open spaces, weaving its web of "greenways" across the state.

Thanks to all who made Her Night Out a success
      Avanti Day Resort's "Her Night Out" campaign on Oct. 19 was a huge success. We were able to raise $2,350, which was donated to CancerCare, the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and our featured guest, Tina Tinervia. Tina and her 6-year-old daughter, Ashlee, enjoyed their girls' night out, while bringing attention to her fight against cancer.

Tire industry group urges passage of Right to Repair Act
      The Tire Industry Association strongly urges Congress to pass the Motor Vehicle Owners' Right to Repair Act (HR 2057) to ensure that car owners and their trusted repair shops have the same access to safety alerts and repair information as the franchised new car dealer network.
