All are welcome to Veterans Day events

A Veterans Day ceremony will be held 1-2:15p.m. Nov. 10 at New Jersey United Christian Academy, 73 Holmes Mill Road, in the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold.

Every military branch will be represented. There will also be a special guest who was rescued by the Marines during the Korean War. Call 609-738-2121 for additional information.

A Veterans Day honors ceremony will begin 11 a.m. Nov. 11 at the Millstone Township Veterans Memorial, located next to the municipal building. Following the ceremony, which will include a rifle salute and the traditional playing of "Taps," those in attendance are invited to the Millstone Community Center for complimentary coffee and cake.
