Mrs. Salmansohn, 93, of Roosevelt, died Oct. 10, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton. Born in Windsor, she lived in Freehold for eight years prior to moving to Roosevelt 26 years ago. She and her late husband owned of the Manalapan General Store. Her husband, Benjamin, and a son, Martin, predeceased her. Surviving are her children, Ruben and his wife, Alice, of Freehold, Linda Block and her husband, Michael, of Roosevelt, and Rosalyn Klatskin, of Roosevelt; siblings, Abe Gellman and his wife, Goldie, of Fla.; Rose Schneider of Freehold and Sylvia Meyer of East Brunswick; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan.
