      Area residents should report illegal hunting
            Hunting season is now upon us. If you see a hunter(s) illegally hunting on your property or hunting within 450 feet of your home, barn or any occupied dwelling, this is a crime and should be reported. The phone number to report illegal hunting is 609-259-2120. This number is available Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 pm.

      Establish single-payer health coverage for all
            Over the past few years, I attended several town hall meetings hosted by my representative in Congress, Rush Holt (D-12). At some of the meetings, I asked Rep. Holt to co-sponsor H.R. 676, a bill to establish singlepayer health coverage for all Americans (a bill he finally cosponsored earlier this year).

      Preschoolers should not receive public school services
            Two weeks ago, a New Jersey 101.5 morning talk radio host was discussing how there are 51,000 children — 3 and 4 years old — who are enrolled in preschool in many of the 612 school districts in New Jersey, that each of those children would cost about $12,500 for their current year enrollment for a total of $637.

      Heritage Green water bill problem can be easily solved
            I have a simple solution to the unpaid water hydrant bill for Heritage Green. You simply take the cover off the curb stop and ever so slowly shut the water off. I will guarantee you by the next day the bill will be paid in full.
