      Bill would bring bowhunting closer to homes
            Hunting season starts in September. Everybody needs to be aware that a law was passed in New Jersey this year that allows bow hunting on Sundays in Wild Life Management Areas (WMA) and on private property. If you like to ride, hike, bird watch or just plain stroll through those WMA, be aware that there might be a hunter in camouflage in the same area you are in.

      Health care reform will help those in Medicare
            I'm an AARP volunteer. Over the years, I've grown to trust AARP. So when special interest groups started trying to scare me and other seniors with horrible things that would supposedly happen to my Medicare if health care reform passed, it touched a nerve.
