      Dragons make their mark

UPPER FREEHOLD — The Allentown/ Upper Freehold Dragons lacrosse teams made their mark in the first Central Jersey All Star Tournament.

      The Dragons participated in the inaugural tournament in Freehold and had a fantastic showing against teams from all over the tri-state area.

      In the daylong event, the seventh- and eighth-grade team went 2-1 and the fifthand sixth-grade team went 3-0.

      At the end of the day, opposing managers chose players from each team to participate in an all-star game. Cristopher Masserini (attack), Matt Salko (defense) and Dakota Wojcik (midfield) were selected from the Dragons fifth- and sixth-grade team. Nate Marquez (attack), Marc Kwietniak (midfielder) and Bobby Brown (defense) were selected from the Dragons seventh- and eighth-grade team.
