      Excluding lots from bow hunting doesn't make anyone safer
            Our children are not safer as a result of removing a few lots from bow hunting in Millstone. The fact is many people (including children) are injured in car accidents caused each year due to the excessive deer population. Studies have also found that the overpopulation contributes to the increase occurrences of serious diseases including Lyme, ehrlichiosis and babesiosis.

      A real case of puppy love
            I always wanted a dog. From the time I was a child, if anyone asked me what I wanted for my birthday, without hesitation I answered, "a dog." Since we did not have a backyard for a dog to roam around in, my parents did not think it would be a good idea to have one. They suggested that I get a dog when I was married with a house and a big backyard.
