      Deeds are true measure of accomplishment
            At the end of the June 3 televised public meeting of the Millstone Township Committee, recognition and respect for the decision of our electorate was acknowledged by one of the more vocal individuals that support those who failed to win the primary.

      Public urged to support medical marijuana bill
            My name is Charles Kwiatkowski. I have had MS for 12 years and I use medical marijuana to treat my pain and spasticity, and it works far better than any pharmaceutical drug on today's market. I only wish I could afford medical marijuana with some smaller co-pay and use it wisely.

      For the Record
            In the story "Opposition Mounts to Charges for School Use" in the June 18 edition of the Examiner, there was an incorrect value stated for the cost of an outdoor classroom built by an Eagle Scout. The cost was $300-$400 not $3,000-$4,000.

      Residents look forward to explanation of tax monies
            Ihave been a homeowner and taxpayer in Upper Freehold Township for the past five years. In that time, my taxes have increased dramatically, apparently due to unchecked spending. Some, of course, is due to the fact that even after the citizens of this democracy rejected a school budget last year, the vote of the majority of the citizens was overturned by the School Board.
