Freedom Fest Fair seeks horse exhibitors The third annual Freedom Fest Fair is set for July 7-12 at the Horse Park of New Jersey in Upper Freehold. The fair is now taking applications for horse exhibitions and breed demonstrations. Exhibitions in the indoor arena will take place 5-10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Exhibitions in the main pavilion arena will take place 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. There will also be Sunday exhibitions until 8 p.m. this year in both the pavilion arena and the indoor arena. Other opportunities for participation include having an education/display area in the indoor arena or a program for young spectators in the indoor arena. The fair will also feature a horseback ceremonial tribute to veterans and soldiers on July 11 and a historical carriage parade on July12. Since the horse fair takes place in a carnival environment, participating horses should be accustomed to noise and large crowds. Those who would like to show off their organization, breed or discipline for a good cause should contact Kathy Ricci at 609-638-9843 or at bkricci97@yahoo.com. The Freedom Fest Fair is an annual fundraiser started by the Allentown PresbyterianChurch. Profits from the fair will help support local charities as well as mission work in Guatemala and Malawi. |
