Local auxiliary helps raise $90K for hospital

The CentraState Associated Auxiliaries raised $90,000 in donations for CentraState Healthcare System last year, an all-time record.

The associated auxiliaries conducted several fundraising events during the year and recently presented checks to CentraState administrators at an annual luncheon. More than 100 people, including volunteers at the CentraState Medical Center Thrift Shop, attended the event held at Applewood Estates.

The auxiliaries have raised more than $2.6 million for the hospital over the years and have fulfilled $150,000 of their recent $250,000 pledge toward the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, which opened at CentraState in 2007. Their generosity provides the nonprofit health system financial support for expansions, renovations and equipment.

The CentraState Associated Auxiliaries are located at Covered Bridge in Manalapan, Freehold Borough, Freehold Township, Manalapan, Englishtown, Marlboro; Millstone Township and The Villages in Freehold and Howell.
