UFRSD teachers, staff appreciated
The Upper Freehold Regional Elementary/ Middle School PTA joined thousands of communities across the country in celebrating PTA Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week May 4-8.
The special week honors the dedicated men and women who lend their passion and skills to educating children. The local appreciation events were part of a national effort to call attention to the contributions teachers make to individuals and communities.
During PTA Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week, community members recognized the imperative and inspiring work teachers and staff do every day. According to PTA research, giving teachers the status and recognition they deserve as professionals is the best way to improve education in this country.
Community members are asked to continue to recognize all of the ways the teachers and staff contribute to the lives of children and to show how much their efforts are appreciated.
The UFRE/MS PTA honored the teachers and staff with an appreciation breakfast on May 6.
Membership in PTA is open to anyone who wants to be involved and make a difference for the education, health, and welfare of children and youth.
