Allentown boys lacrosse honors senior players
      The Allentown boys lacrosse team honored its senior players on April 28 in a pregame ceremony before playing Colonial Valley Conference rival Hightstown. Varsity coach Mike Kays recognized the 11 players and their families, many of whom have been with the program for all four years of high school and several who plan to play lacrosse in college.

Major league baseball competition a big hit
      Area youths won honors in the Aquafina Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit, and Run Competition on April 18. Ninety-four participants competed in the event, hosted by the Allentown/Upper Freehold Little League at the Upper Freehold Regional Elementary/Middle School fields.
