In difficult economic times, it is more important than ever to connect the university's resources to those we serve. More ... Recently an article covering the Upper Freehold Township drug testing policy described students as having "volunteered." I take exception to the characterization of this policy as being voluntary. It is not voluntary — it is coercive. The school board threatens students into compliance by withholding access to extracurricular activities. More ... Hunters say, "There has never been an incident in New Jersey in which a bow and arrow hunter has mistaken a person, horseback rider or family pet for a deer." Just a few weeks ago in West Amwell Township a 3-year-old cat had to fight for its life after a hunter apparently put her in his sights, drew back his bow and shot a barbed arrow through her head.
