In response to Michael P. Riccard's March 12 letter, "Why Joe DiMaggio will remain immortal," we DiMaggios couldn't have put it better ourselves.

It was eloquently written and wonderful to see that there are still some people around who know who Joe DiMaggio was and his influence on baseball and America.

As the song goes, "Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio?"
