'Pedals for Progress' puts bikes to good use
      The United Presbyterian Church of Millstone is holding a bicycle collection 1-4 p.m. April 5 at the church, located at 211 Millstone Road, in the Perrineville section of Millstone, "Pedals for Progress" puts used bicycles to good use by donating them to developing countries throughout the world where there is no other means of transportation.

Horse and Carriage Society to hold clinic
      The Garden State Horse and Carriage Society will host a driving clinic April 5 with Robin Groves and Michelle McBride at the Horse Park of New Jersey, Allentown. The Society is made up of carriage collectors, drivers and equine enthusiasts from New Jersey and the surrounding area. The clinic is to support their mission as an educational facility.

Cloth bag exhibit at Historic Walnford
      "Contained by Cotton, 150 Years of Cloth Bags" will be offered 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 28 through Aug. 2 at Walnford Park in Upper Freehold. The display is located on the second floor of the Waln House. During the 19th and 20th centuries, flour, sugar, animal feed and other products filled cloth bags of many sizes.
