Open space to be discussed March 24 in U.F.

The Open Space and Farmland Preservation Committee will make a presentation and discuss the current draft of the Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP) at The Upper Freehold Township Planning Board meeting to be held 7 p.m. March 24.

This meeting offers an opportunity to:

• hear the update about the OSRP element of the township's master plan for which the Upper Freehold Township Open Space and Farmland Preservation Committee was awarded a grant by the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commission (ANJEC);

• learn about the impact of the proposed plan to provide guidance on current and future acquisition, preservation and management of open space and recreation areas in Upper Freehold Township;

• provide input on this document in line with the vision for Upper Freehold Township's plan for appropriate open space, preservation, conservation and active and passive recreation opportunities.
