Television show seeks first-time homebuyers
"My First Place," a television program for Home & Garden Television (HGTV), is casting in the greater Philadelphia area for its sixth season.
High Noon Entertainment, the show's producer, is currently accepting applications and shooting through the summer of 2009. "My First Place" is looking for high-energy people who are just starting the home-buying process in search of their first place.
The show chronicles first-time homebuyers' struggles and successes as they go through the process of searching for, bidding on, inspecting and ultimately buying a home for the first time. The show's goal is to be there with cameras from the beginning to capture all the challenges and decisions of every step of the home-buying process.
Homebuyers who are featured on the show will also receive a surprise housewarming gift that HGTV selects just for them.
Realtors or homebuyers interested in being considered for "My First Place" should send an e-mail to sfinley@highnoonentertainment.com or call 303-712-3286 to request an application. Applications are also available online at www.HGTV.com or www.highnoonentertainment. com.
