We lost my mother in 2003 to her short-lived battle with ovarian cancer. It was a devastating time for our family. Her diagnosis was stage 4. An immediate hysterectomy and removal of much of her abdominal tissue didn't make the significant difference to save her life. The cancer had already spread to other parts of her body. More ... |
