It seems to me that the school production of "Rent" is an approved school activity.

While I don't agree with the parents who have a concern about the contents of this play, a parent can decide for his or her child not for the entire student body. Therefore, requiring permission slips from parents of students wanting to participate in this production is, in my opinion, a simple solution.
