Golf outing will help raise funds for schools

The Millstone Township Foundation for Educational Excellence will present the seventh annual "Fore the Kids Golf Outing and Dinner" 11:30 a.m. Oct. 2 at the Battleground Country Club in Manalapan.

The cost is $275 per golfer. Dinner-only tickets are also available for $75 each.

The hole-in-one prize is a new car from Acme Nissan in South Brunswick. Dinner will feature awards and a silent auction.

Proceeds from the event will help the foundation promote and enhance educational excellence in Millstone public schools by providing opportunities that might not be available without private funds. Past outings have helped the foundation award over $350,000 in grants for enrichment programs for Millstone public school students.
