Youth basketball program registration slated Oct. 5
      Upper Freehold Township Recreation will be sponsoring the 2008-09 Upper Freehold/Allentown winter youth basketball program for children in grades 1-8. Practice, which will be held at the Upper Freehold Elementary-Middle School and High School, begins in November with games running from December to February.

AUF Lady Hawks to hold basketball tryouts
      The AUF Lady Hawks Basketball Association offers a competitive, travel basketball program for young ladies going into fifth grade for the 2008-09 school year or for sixth grade girls provided they meet the AAU cutoff date for fifth grade divisional play. Players are eligible if they live in Cream Ridge, Millstone, Roosevelt, Upper Freehold or Allentown.
