Henry G. Daum

Mr. Daum, 63, a resident of Freehold Township for the past 38 years, died June 29, 2008, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. While at Rutgers University he was named an All American Lightweight Football player. Mr. Daum went on to become a landscape architect and cofounder and president of Four Seasons Nursery and Landscape Co., Manalapan, contributing to many beautification projects in Freehold. Mr. Daum was predeceased by his father, Fred W. Daum, in 2003. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Gerri Mills Daum; three sons and daughters-inlaw, Craig and Meri Daum of Morganville, Michael and Robin Daum of Freehold Township and Scott and Jennifer Daum of Jackson; his mother, Jane Ash Daum of Freehold Township; two brothers, Peter H. Daum of Shoreham, N.Y., and Roy K. Daum of Wall; two sisters, Linda Brown of Jamestown, R.I., and Carolyn Kaempffer of Freehold Township; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township.
