Bone marrow registration drive to be held July 13

A registration drive for the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) Registry is being held 10-30 a.m.-2 p.m. July 13 at the Allentown Presbyterian Church, 20 High St., Allentown.

Every day over 6,000 men, women and children desperately search the registry for a matching bone marrow donor.

To type tissue, a swab is taken from inside the cheek. The cost is $30.
