            MILLSTONE - A ladybug landed on a student while a bird perched atop the bulletin board and chipmunks scampered just beyond the teacher's toes. Millstone Township Primary School students are learning to live in harmony with nature in their new outdoor classroom.

      District to have more information on private school runs in July
            MILLSTONE - Starting and ending times for the district's schools will change come September. At the June 9 Board of Educationmeeting, Superintendent of Schools Mary Anne Donahue said that the middle and primary schoolswould open 15minutes later and the elementary school would open 15 minutes earlier during the next school year.

      Roosevelt Public School graduates 12 in 71st class
            ROOSEVELT - They will leap from the pond into the ocean. Twelve sixth-graders graduated from Roosevelt Public School (RPS) during the 71st annual commencement exercises June 14 in the amphitheater.Many of the graduates from the school, with a student population under 100, will attend seventh grade at Melvin H.

      Millstone school grounds sup't. replaces Van Horn at UFRSD
            ALLENTOWN - After 33 years with the Upper Freehold Regional School District, Building and Grounds Supervisor Jim Van Horn is retiring. Van Horn, 58, not only spent 33 years working for the district, but an additional 13 years attending school there from kindergarten through high school.
