Community with issues needs fresh ideas and unity
As this election for Upper Freehold Township has progressed, unfortunately, choosing a candidate to support has caused a difference of opinion within my own family. Despite this difference, I feel strongly that one individual, Bryan Scheff, ismore prepared to serve the needs of all residents of Upper Freehold Township.
I first met Bryan Scheff two and a half years ago when I enrolled my son at the school he owns and operates in the local area. As a parent, I could not have been more pleased by my son's progress and the peace of mind I felt when leaving him in Bryan's capable hands. What stood out for me was the attention to detail and the open communication that was fostered by Bryan in the school. His willingness to help, be open-minded and proactive havemade for a wonderful experience for our family as well as many others. These characteristics are desperately needed as our Township Committee encounters many policy decisions in regard to our master plan, Council on Affordable Housing Obligation and economic development.
It is not only me, but others who have taken notice. Since its inception, Bryan's school has won numerous awards for excellence and is always among the Top 10 schools in the country. Bryan's commitment to excellence in whatever he takes on can only bolster Upper Freehold's efforts to maintain its peaceful and rural way of life.
It was when we both volunteered to serve on the Upper Freehold Regional School District task force that I was able to see these characteristics put into action in my own community. Bryan attended all the meetings, informing himself on all issues, taking diligent notes and even taking pictures for thosemembers who could not take the tour of the schools or make a meeting. He was always looking for solutions rather than being stuck in the "blame game." Just the amount of information that he was able to take in and learn quickly was incredible. What I admired most was his ability to think outside the box and look for innovative ways to help our schools. We facemany issues in our community and need fresh ideas froma passionate individual who can meet these challenges while bringing about unity in our community. Bryan is ready and able to face those challenges.
As a mother, Bryan has already earned my respect and trust by caring for my son, so trusting him with my vote is easy. It is with much conviction that I urge you to go out on June 3 and support Bryan Scheff 's candidacy for Upper Freehold Committee.
