      Hurtault making it happen on the track
      Ex-Husky training for Olympic Trials
            Erison Hurtault's day is built around running fast. The Matawan High School grad is now a professional runner and all he is focused on is the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. (June 27-July 6) with the goal of reaching the Beijing Olympics in China.

      Rutgers Roundup
            Two-time Rutgers All-American running back Ray Rice was selected in the second round of the 2008 NFLDraft by the Baltimore Ravens. The nation's secondleading rusher in 2007, Rice rushed for 2,012 yards and scored 25 touchdowns in 2007 to help lead Rutgers to its third straight bowl and second consecutive bowl victory.

      Local waters hold plenty of stripers and bluefish
            The Raritan Bay is alive and blue. Swarms of hungry bluefish were caught on bunker from Raritan Bay to Barnegat Light. Anglers are trying to get past the relentless blues in search of a few keeper bass for the dinner table. Bass reports are coming in on NJSaltwaterfisherman.com despite tough weather this week.
