      Millstone community education offers classes
            TheMillstone Township SchoolDistrict's Office of Community Education is sponsoring the following programs: "Dancing with Candace Woodward- Clough," Wednesdays, 8:30-9:30 p.m. April 2-30. The fee is $48 per person or $89 per couple; the program will be held at the Primary School cafeteria, Schoolhouse Road.

      Mega-raffle will help send AHS golf team to S.C.
            The Redbird Golf Classic III will host a mega-raffle in conjunction with Reed Sod Farm, the Allentown High School Parent Golf Association, Hampton Inn Hotels and Kings Grant Country Club. The grand prize is two rounds of golf for four at Kings Grant Country Club in Fayetteville, N.C., and an overnight stay at Fayetteville's Hampton Inn.

      Allentown Art Guild to hold exhibit in March
            The Allentown Art Guild will hold its spring exhibit at the Plumsted branch of the Ocean County Library, 119 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, for the entire month of March. A variety of works by guild members will be on display and will be available for purchase.

      Millstone to host Friday night fun for teenagers
            Millstone Township's Recreation Department will present teen nights 8-10 p.m. Fridays through April 25 in the Millstone Township Primary School gym. The events will feature a safe and fun place to hang out and socialize with friends, and games such as basketball, volleyball and pingpong.

      Millstone to offer preschool programs
            The Millstone Township School District's Office of Community Education is sponsoring the following preschool programs. "Playmaking Theater" offers activities for children ages 4-6 designed to develop creativity, confidence and communication skills.Meets Thursdays, 1-1:45 p.m.,April 3-May 8, in the Community Center, 466 Stagecoach Road. The fee is $50.

      Millstone seniors to cook breakfast on April 13
            The Millstone Senior Citizens Organization is sponsoring a pancake breakfast from 8:30-11 a.m. on April 13 at the Millstone Township Community Center, 524 Stagecoach Road. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. The menu includes pancakes, bacon or sausage, orange juice, coffee and tea.

      Lady Redbirds have AHS throw blankets for sale
            The Allentown High School Lady Redbird Soccer program is selling throw blankets that depict various high school sports around the Redbird logo. The blankets cost $35 each. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward the growth and instruction of the Lady Redbird soccer program.

      Shoot some hoops at RPS 7-9 p.m. on Friday nights
            The Roosevelt Recreation Department is sponsoring an open basketball program from 7-9 p.m. on Friday nights at the Roosevelt Public School. The program is open to students in grades 9-12 and will not take place on days when school is not in session.

      NJUCA benefit concert, dinner slated for April 11
            The New Jersey United Christian Academy will host a benefit dinner and concert at 6 p.m. April 11 at 73 Holmes Mill Road, in the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold. Attendees will be entertained by the school band, the Korean choir, the Hands of Praise Choir and the music of the band, Unspoken.

      Roosevelt String Band to perform April 25-26
            The Roosevelt Arts Project will present the Roosevelt String Band at 8 p.m. April 25 and 26 at borough hall. The 21st annual concert of the string band will include performances by David Brahinsky, Paul Prestopino, Ed Cedar, Joe Pepitone and Sarah Houtz.
