      Taxes for average homeowner would increase $70 per year

      Residents will be asked to vote on April 15 for a $25.5 million tax levy to support the Millstone Township School District.       Gov. wants to raise $20.5M from areas served by state police

      In the wake of slashed state aid to small towns, 73 New Jersey municipalities also have to deal with Gov. Jon Corzine's proposal to make them pay for New Jersey State Police coverage. Corzine's budget proposed raising $20.5 million in revenue from municipalities using state police services, but does not specify how fees would be assessed. More...
