Artists with disabilities sought for gallery exhibit

Arts Unbound, a New Jersey-based visual arts studio and gallery for people with disabilities, is announcing an open call for interested artists with disabilities. Six artists will be commissioned from among those competing to create one or two new works of art for display in an exhibit from April to May at the Arts Unbound gallery in Orange.

Arts Unbound was founded in 2000 by Catherine Lazen, an artist and educator determined to create an art studio for persons with disabilities who are interested in the visual arts and wish to sell their work on the retail market.

All entries must be submitted at 5 p.m. Feb. 8 byNew Jersey artists living with disabilities. Exhibit rules and guidelines can be found on the Arts Unbound Web site at www.artsunbound.org. For further information, call the Arts Unbound studio at (973) 675-2787.
