Boy Scout troop thanks Allentown and U.F. for food donations

Boy Scout Troop 180, Allentown, would like to thank the residents of Allentown and Upper Freehold Township for their generous contributions to our Scouting For Food program.

In this program, the troop collects food items from local neighborhoods that go to food banks in Allentown and Upper Freehold Township. The food banks are maintained to supplement families who might not have enough food to eat. The food banks are visited yearround and the Scouting For Food program helps to replenish them.

Boy Scout Troop 180 has been a chartered organization for over 80 years and is very active in the community. The troop participates in various community service projects such as cleaning up parks and cemeteries, placing flags on veterans' graves, and volunteering at the Special Olympics, among many others. The Scouting For Food program helps many families but could not exist without help from the community.
