Roosevelt residents are invited to a community dance night from 7-10 p.m. Nov. 17 at Roosevelt Public School. Candace Woodward-Clough, who has extensive training in ballroom, jazz, and tap dance and who has acted in and choreographed several off-Broadway productions, movies, soap operas, and videos, will lead the event.

The evening will start with an hour of dance instruction based upon the interests of those in attendance. The remaining two hours will be devoted to an open dance party. No dance experience is required. Adults and children are welcome. Light refreshments will be served. The cost is $5 per person.
