      The fifth annual Witches Hollow Run, sponsored by the Millstone Township Booster Club to benefit Millstone Township student athletics, will take place Oct. 28 at the Millstone Primary School, Schoolhouse Road. The event will begin at 9 a.m. with a one-mile fun run. The USATF certified 5K run will begin at 9:30 a.m.

      The Allentown Public Library Association will host its first-ever ghost tour of Historic Allentown on Oct. 26. Guided walking tours of houses on Main Street, including urban legends and spirit stories, begin at 7:30 p.m. at the library, 16 S. Main St., Allentown. Upon return to the library, guests will be treated to seasonal refreshments and door prize drawings.

Volunteers sought to help domestic violence victims
      180, Turning Lives Around, a private, nonprofit organization, will be conducting a 40-hour certification training for Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) volunteers. The volunteer advocates, whose identities are kept anonymous, work in conjunction with the police to provide support, information and referrals to victims of domestic violence at police headquarters.
