Allentown Lions to host free family movie night
      Lions will be on the loose in Byron Johnson Park. Actually, the lion, giraffe, hippo and zebra from the DreamWorks movie "Madagascar" will make their local debut on the big screen as the Allentown Lions host a free family movie night in the park on Saturday, Aug. 25, at 8 p.m.

Seniors invited to share April 12, 1945 memories
      Bridge Biography, a new company devoted to preserving family histories, is inviting all area seniors to the Empire Diner in Freehold on Aug. 22 at 9 a.m. to share their remembrances of the day Franklin Delano Roosevelt passed away in Warm Springs, Georgia. Tickets are free, however space is limited so attendees must RSVP before Aug. 10.
