      Freehold Raceway, the nation's oldest daytime harness racing track, swings back into action today afternoon. Post time is 12:30 p.m. The highlight of the fall/winter 2007 meet will be the Cane Pace, the first leg of the Pacing Triple Crown, on Sept. 3.

      A state Department of Agriculture farm tour for state legislators on July 31 included a stop at the state's largest standardbred breeding farm, Perretti Farms in Cream Ridge. The 2005 Harness Horse of the Year, Rocknroll Hanover, now stands as a stallion at the farm. Anthony Perretti is the general manager of the farm.
