      Perrineville synagogue schedules an open house
            Perrineville Jewish Center will hold an open house for potential new members on Sept. 5, 7:30-9 p.m. Those in attendance have the opportunity to tour the newly renovated and historic synagogue, to meet members and the rabbi and to learn about the center's one day a week Hebrew School and cultural events.

      Allentown Lions to host free family movie night
            DreamWorks' movie "Madagascar" will make its local debut on the big screen as the Allentown Lions host a free family movie night Aug. 25 at 8 p.m. at Byron Johnson Park. The Lions Club is active in vision care, services to the blind and dyslexic, as well as sponsorships of the annual Memorial Day parade and Easter egg hunt.

      Deborah's motorcycle rally slated for Sept. 30
            Deborah Hospital Foundation's Third Annual Highway to Healthcare Motorcycle Rally will rev up on Sept. 30. Registration for the 45-mile scenic ride through New Jersey's pinelands and farmlands starts at 8:30 a.m. at Deborah Hospital in Browns Mills.
