      Allentown Art Guild displays new art in bank
            The Allentown Art Guild has a new exhibit displaying its members' work in the lobby of The Bank, 20 N. Main St., Allentown. This is the second bimonthly show to be displayed at this location and includes paintings, drawings and photography. The artwork will be on view during regular banking hours until the beginning of August.

      Allentown Co-op offers summer nursery program
            The Allentown Co-op Christian Nursery will hold a three-week summer program on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, Aug. 6-23, 9 a.m. to noon, for children ages 3-6. The cost is $200.             Perrineville Jewish Center is holding its registration for Hebrew school. Anyone wishing to attend the one-day-a-week Hebrew school may enroll. Call to arrange for a tour of the synagogue and meet various members.

      Mad Science camp offered in Roosevelt
            The Roosevelt Recreation Department is co-sponsoring a summer camp program with Mad Science of Central Jersey entitled "Survival - Predators and Prey." Campers will learn how animals adapt and discover how birds and beasts catch their prey. Campers will participate in an owl pellet dissection and will build bird and bug houses.

      92nd annual worship service to be held July 29
            The Upper Freehold Baptist Church, Imlaystown and The Friends of Ye Olde Yellow Meeting House will host the 92nd annual worship service at Ye Olde Yellow Meeting House, 70 Yellow Meeting House Road., Upper Freehold on Sunday, July 29 at 11 a.m. The service will be conducted by F. Staton Bentley Jr., pastor of The Upper Freehold Baptist Church.

      Balladeer of Celtic music to perform Aug. 11
            Charlie Zahm, a popular balladeer of Celtic and Early American music, will perform a concert of songs of the Early American and Civil War periods 7:30-9:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at Ye Old Yellow Meetinghouse, 70 Yellow Meetinghouse Road, Upper Freehold.
