Diabetes research will benefit from wine event

The fourth annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation wine-tasting fundraiser featuring an afternoon of fun for the entire family will be held in the Cream Ridge Winery vineyard Saturday, June 16, from noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $10 per person for those over 21 (those under 21 will be admitted free). Music will be provided by the Eddie Testa Band, and there will be tours with winemaker Tom Amabile and a tasting of the winery's 15 award-winning wines. Two wines will be released that day: Pear and Fredonia.

There also will be face painting, pony rides and a "bouncy castle" for children, and adults will receive a free souvenir glass.

The Cream Ridge Winery was selected New Jersey's 2005 Winery of the Year. The event will be held rain or shine.

For tickets, directions or more information, call (609) 259-9797 or visit the Web site www.creamridgewinery.com.
