Diabetes research will benefit from wine event
      The fourth annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation wine-tasting fundraiser featuring an afternoon of fun for the entire family will be held in the Cream Ridge Winery vineyard Saturday, June 16, from noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $10 per person for those over 21 (those under 21 will be admitted free).

Movie night slated in Roosevelt for June 16
      The Roosevelt Recreation Department invites all area residents to the Roosevelt Public School grounds to enjoy a free movie on the "big screen" on Saturday, June 16 at 8:30 p.m. "Down and Derby" will be shown. The film is about a group of men who begin behaving like children when their kids enter a Boy Scout competition. The movie title is subject to change.

Allentown Art Guild displays new art in bank
      The Allentown Art Guild has a new exhibit displaying its members' work in the lobby of The Bank, 20 N. Main St., Allentown. This is the second bimonthly show to be displayed at this location and includes paintings, drawings and photography. The artwork will be on view during regular banking hours until the beginning of August.

Wyldlife/Younglife to hold car wash fundraiser
      Millstone Wyldlife/Younglife will hold a car wash fundraiser on Saturday, June 16, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Department of Public Works building near the tennis courts. The groups will wash vehicles for $5. All proceeds will go toward the groups' summer camp.

      The Horsemen's Association of Millstone Township will have its monthly meeting June 19 at 7 p.m. in the Community Center, Route 524 (Stagecoach Road), Millstone Township. The group is open to both horse owners and non-owners who would like to see horses remain a presence in the community. Membership is open to singles, couples and families.

      The Christian Center for the Arts, an ecumenical community initiative being developed by the Community Christian Choir, has planned an evening of fun with family and friends from the area on Wednesday, June 20, 5-7:30 p.m. The evening will include a cookout, family art project and other activities as well as stories told by professional storyteller Helen Wise.
