I was totally shocked and disappointed to read that our elected Millstone officials decided to overturn the recent school proposals against the voice of the people who elected them. With regard to displaying on the Web site that donations were "tax deductible," Reach an Educated Decision (RED) acknowledged and corrected this error. There was no intent to "mislead" the public. Unfortunately, due to personal obligations, I was unable to attend the May 2 Millstone Township Committee meeting at which time the committee considered the defeated Board of Education budget; however, I did get the opportunity to voice my opinion at the April 18 meeting. I commend the committee for understanding the needs of our children and the importance of education in Millstone. More ...
