Cream Ridge Winery in the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold has released its May Wine, which is made with Chardonnay and an essence of woodruf and should be served in a pitcher with a few strawberries. The New Jersey Sire Stakes (NJSS) will launch its 2007 pari-mutuel racing season at The Meadowlands on May 18 and 19 with the first of three preliminary rounds of competition for 3-year-old pacers concluding with $175,000 championship finals in June. Sire Stakes competition for 3-year-old pacing fillies is slated to begin May 18, with the colts and geldings on the following night on May 19. New Jersey-sired 3-year-old trotters will begin competing on May 28 for colts and geldings and May 30 for fillies. There will be three preliminary rounds in each of the four NJSS three-year-old divisions, followed by championship finals.
NJSS Pari-Mutuel division races for 2 year olds, with two preliminary rounds and $175,000 championships, will begin in June and conclude in July. For further information, call Leon Zimmerman (609) 394-8303.

Taster's Canvas and Webcrazy Solutions are planning their grand openings for New Egypt Day this year in Plumsted Township. Taster's Canvas and Webcrazy Solutions are the latest businesses to open their doors in the historic Main Street section of New Egypt in Plumsted Township.
Taster's Canvas, at 1 Main St., will revive an abandoned building that has been renovated with a modern art-deco-style look. Owner Joe Savastano will serve a varied menu to include Brooklyn-style bagels and gourmet coffee, and a full deli menu of hot and cold sandwiches.
Webcrazy Solutions at 23 Main St. is a computer technology store that will offer an array of computer and Interment services including repair and new sales. Owner Andrew Petrosky is looking forward to helping individuals and businesses navigate an increasingly technology-driven world.
