Guest speaker to discuss pasture management
      The Horsemen's Association of Millstone Township will have its monthly meeting, April 17 at 7 p.m. in the Community Center, Route 524 (Stagecoach Road), Millstone Township. The group is open to both horse and nonhorse owners who would like to see horses remain a presence in our community. Membership is open to singles, couples and families.

Scholarships offered to those in health-care field
      The CentraState Associated Auxiliaries Scholarship Program is offering three scholarships to individuals who live and volunteer in the CentraState service area. Two scholarships are being awarded to high school seniors and a third to an adult returning to college. All candidates must be pursuing a career in the health-care field.

Pancake and sausage breakfast at the firehouse
      The Millstone Township Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will host a pancake and sausage breakfast on Sunday, April 29 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Millstone Township Firehouse, 461 Stage Coach Road. The cost is $5 per adult and $3 per child age 12 and under. Children 3-years-old and under are free.

Food pantry at local church to open April 23
      DeBows United Methodist Church will open a Food Pantry at the church to serve the area community. The pantry will be open 6:30-7:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays, starting April 23rd. The church is located at the intersection of routes 571 and 537, across from the side entrance of the Outlet Mall in Jackson.

Lil' Nipper recreational soccer program returns
      Upper Freehold Allentown Soccer Association will once again run a recreational soccer program at the Mark Harbourt Soccer Complex and Byron Johnson Park this spring. The program is open to boys and girls currently enrolled in grades K-8. Opening day is April 14. The expertise of U.K. Elite trainers will be utilized to coordinate kindergarten and first grade levels.

MOMS club spring member drive, egg hunt
      The MOMS Club of Millstone will host its annual spring member drive and egg hunt April 18 at 1 p.m. at Wagner Farm Park, Millstone (rain or shine; event will be held in the park building if inclement weather). Guests can meet other members and join in for an afternoon of fun activities and games, egg hunt, crafts, snacks and spring treats.
