      Resident frustrated at lack of leadership
            Readers of the Examiner had a lot to digest in last week's issue when it comes to the issue of educating our children. Unfortunately, the news wasn't at all good.

      AHS coach offers thanks for special night
            The Allentown High School (AHS) Lady Redbirds Basketball Team would like to thank those who helped raise more than $9,500 when we honored Becca Wishbow at our Jan. 23 home game vs. Lawrence. We appreciate the support of the AHS staff including Athletic Director Brian Irwin and Vice Principal Connie Embley.

      Resident notes how fire district budget went down in flames
            Once again Millstone voters turned down the fire district budget. The budget meant a property tax increase of $51. This should be compared with the $41 increase in county property taxes forced down the throats of Monmouth County residents by the bloated county budget put together by the freeholders, on which we had no opportunity to vote.

      Individual's opinion not formed by his home's location
            I am upset about how the Examiner individually singled me out in last week's editorial (Feb. 22) in the second paragraph, and then proceeded to make it look like Four Seasons funds candidates for public office. I am not a public official. There are many people who have spoken out in favor of the new referendum.

      Residents represent only their own personal views
            I have noted that when the Examiner refers to any member of this development, he or she is invariably identified as "a resident of Four Seasons" active adult community. When residents from other parts of the township are mentioned in an article, their locations or developments do not become a permanent attachment to their names.
